A 19-year-old popular K-Pop idol revealed astonishing stock investment results that defy his age, shocking the rest of the show cast members and viewers.

On the JTBC variety show Knowing Bros aired on the 30th, AND2BLE‘s Zhang Hao and Han Yujin, Christina Confalonieri, and Choi Yena appeared to showcase their exceptional variety show skills. The highlight of the episode was undoubtedly Han Yujin’s impressive stock investment track record.

He explained the background of his unique economic sense from a young age, saying, “My dad told me to learn about the economy, gave me ₩1.00 million KRW (about $663 USD) to try investing in stocks when I was 14, and told me to do whatever I wanted, so I started studying.”

What began as a simulated investment funded by his father’s encouragement grew into a huge asset. Han Yujin added, “Since then, I kept researching and learning, and now my profits have increased by 8,000%. It went from 1 million won to ₩80.0 million KRW (about $53,100 USD),” shocking the studio.

When asked about his investment style, he showed strong conviction. Han Yujin said, “I only invest in the domestic stock market,” indicating his focus on Korean stocks rather than overseas markets. Regarding specific stocks and timing, he clearly identified industry trends: “Right now, it’s semiconductors, but back then I invested in the marine logistics industry,” earning admiration and envy from the cast.

Although he can’t actively trade as much now due to his entertainment activities, Han Yujin said, “I don’t have much time now to manage it diligently,” but added, “My stock account is still hitting upper limits and staying in the red,” deepening envy.

He also showed a surprising side by sharing a unique hobby of raising “pet stones.” He confessed, “My best friend since elementary school gave me stones for my birthday, so I started raising stones then.” He described his daily care routine, saying, “I wash the stones, put clothes and hats on them,” and “I open the window so they can get fresh air,” displaying extraordinary affection for his pet stones and bringing laughter to viewers.
