A third-generation girl group member has surprised fans with her wedding announcement recently.
The idol in question is Euijin (also known by her soloist stage name Hezz), a member of the girl group SONAMOO.

On June 12 (KST), Euijin personally shared the news of her upcoming marriage on social media, revealing that she had received a surprise proposal while on a trip to Hokkaido, Japan.

Euijin shared her excitement, confessing that she had never imagined events like proposals and marriage happening in her life. She confirmed that she had said yes to the proposal and was preparing for her marriage.
Though Euijin has been active as a soloist after SONAMOO’s quiet disbandment in 2021, she has also been very open about her relationship, and her social media account has mostly been about couple-focused content featuring her boyfriend. Long-time fans and well-wishers have flooded the former girl group idol’s Instagram with congratulatory messages, wishing the couple a happy life ahead.

Meanwhile, Euijin entered the entertainment industry at 18, when she debuted as a member of SONAMOO in 2014. She later gained more prominence through participating in the KBS 2 survival show, The Unit, securing a spot in the project girl group, UNI.T. In 2022, Euijin relaunched her career under the new stage name of Hezz and marked her solo debut with the digital single, “The 8th Spring.” In 2023, she also participated in the popular survival show, GIRL’S RE:VERSE.
