Fans and friends quickly joked about the small portion and Mijoo explained that she grills small amounts at a time because the meat burns easily and said she chose the balcony to avoid the smell indoors. However, the post soon drew attention on online communities for a different reason.

Some netizens questioned whether grilling meat on a shared apartment balcony could bother neighbors due to smoke and strong food smells. As the post garnered hundreds of comments, many came to her defense.
