A popular fourth-gen boy group has possibly set the record for the shortest discussion ever before a contract renewal with their agency.
The group in question is BIGHIT MUSIC’s second boy group, TXT.

The quintet all renewed their exclusive contracts with BIGHIT in 2025 and announced this monumental news during the opening night of their ACT: TOMORROW world tour in Seoul.
However, most fans were unaware of what exactly went on behind the scenes before this renewal. The members recently spilled the beans while appearing on BIGBANG member Daesung’s popular YouTube show, ZIP Daesung.
During the episode, the members gave Daesung a tour of the HYBE building while playfully complaining about their grievances with the company. Daesung then brought up the topic of contract renewal, asking whether the company was receptive toward the negotiations. Taehyun answered that since all five of them were on the same page, the negotiations went smoothly.
Amazed at this, Daesung responded, “That’s not easy to achieve. That’s great.” When he asked if this feat was achieved thanks to Yeonjun or Soobin, the latter replied, “Honestly, it wasn’t anyone’s role.” He explained that when the five of them sat down for a discussion, they were immediately on the same page, and the meeting hardly lasted fifteen minutes.
Daesung, visibly baffled at this revelation, asked, “Fifteen minutes?” and Taehyun responded, “It was like, ‘We’re all in?’ ‘Duh, of course we are.’”
This particular clip from the episode has gone viral on social media, with fans praising the real family-like dynamic among the members.
