On September 6, the SPOTV KPOP Awards 2026 (formerly known as the Circle Chart Awards) took place, honoring a host of K-Pop stars.
Throughout the night, various awards were presented, including the highest award tiers, Bonsang and Daesang. A fifth-generation girl group has made history at the award show, taking home their first-ever grand prize.
In March 2025, Starship Entertainment introduced a new five-member girl group, the first in four years.

KiiiKiii debuted with “I Do Me,” getting their first win shortly after. The group has made several comebacks, including “404 (New Era),” a track that went viral and topped charts after release.
At the SPOTV KPOP Awards 2026, the group first took home the “Artist of the Year (Bonsang)” award, and were announced to be the winners of the “Best Song of the Year (Daesang)” for “404 (New Era).”

This win marks KiiiKiii as the first fifth generation girl group to win a Daesang. Making this moment even more significant is that the members believed that “404 (New era) was their “last chance,” saying that they gave it their all.
I honestly never imagined that you would love “404” this much. I think I felt strange throughout the entire promotion period because, as I mentioned during my live broadcast last time, we prepared for this believing that this was truly the last opportunity we had been given.
