Byun Yo-han and Tiffany are now husband and wife, having wed in Seoul on February 27. The couple first confirmed they were dating last December via Instagram, where they uploaded handwritten letters to their fans. The pair met and began their relationship on the set of the drama Uncle Samsik (2024).
Byun’s management agency, TEAMHOPE, released the official marriage announcement and shared that the couple have not yet decided on the details of a future wedding, but they are considering holding a simple religious ceremony with family present. In Korea, there’s no marriage license system, so couples simply register their marriage at their local district office. Couples typically hold a wedding ceremony later on, but the marriage itself is official as soon as the paperwork is filed.
The news may feel sudden, but in their December letters they stated that they were dating seriously with an eye on marriage. The couple have been pretty low-key since going public with their relationship but from their letters, you can see their love shining through.
In Byun’s letter to his fans, he described Tiffany as “someone who makes me want to be a better person; whose smile warms even my tired heart.”
Tiffany also spoke lovingly of Byun in her letter. She described him as someone “who helps me see the world from a place of optimism, full of hope,” and called him a man who gives her a sense of stability.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
