Group 2NE1 member Sandara Park revealed her own standards for friendship.
On the 12th, Sandara Park appeared in a video titled How to Eat British Food Without Failing, According to Gourmet Roh Hee Young posted on the YouTube channel “Big Hand Roh Hee Young.”
In the video, Roh Hee Young said, “I’m close with Sandara Park. We have similar fashion sense, like the same foods, and enjoy traveling together. We’ve been to Japan, Thailand, the U.S., and Jeju Island together,” adding, “She even wore hanbok to my 60th birthday party. She’s practically like my daughter,” revealing their close relationship.
Roh Hee Young said their connection dates back to Sandara Park’s debut with 2NE1. She said, “When I was working at CJ, Mnet aired ‘2NE1 TV.’ Watching Sandara Park debut made me feel proud as if I had helped launch her career.” She added, “I was really upset when the girl group disbanded, but we shared that feeling and grew closer.”
Hearing this, Sandara Park said, “It takes me 10 years to get close to someone,” adding, “Roh Hee Young really takes care of me like a mother. I see her often even without members around. She’s become a truly reliable figure like a mom.”
The video drew attention as it was posted following recent rumors of discord after Sandara Park was targeted by fellow 2NE1 member Park Bom.
Earlier, Park Bom posted insinuations about drug allegations targeting former agency YG Entertainment, producer Teddy, and group members Sandara Park and CL. Park Bom had been active since 2NE1’s 2024 reunion but has suspended activities since August last year due to health reasons.

Then, on the 4th, Sandara Park posted a brief statement on her social media account saying, “I have never used drugs,” and “I wish her well.” It was later revealed she unfollowed Park Bom’s account after making the statement.
