The most recent gumiho theme K-drama didn’t do well in ratings with No Tail to Tell but this next one has a bigger name leads and sprawling supporting cast to try and bring in more viewers. Filming has commenced for jTBC drama Human x Gumiho with script reading having taken place this week. The drama stars Jeon Ji Hyun as a top actress who is really a thousands year old gumiho and her romance and entanglement with a shaman played by Ji Chang Wook who is immune to her powers. The second leads will be played by Kang You Seok and Cha Joo Young, with Kim Min Seok, Lee Jae In, and Kim Jong Soo in supporting roles, as well as Seolhyun and Hwang In Yeop making special appearances. The drama comes from the screenwriter of The Beauty Inside and Doom at Your Service with the PD of Strong Girl Kang Nam Soon.
