In an industry where “good personality” reputations are often taken with a grain of salt, actor Park Bo Gum might be one of the rare exceptions where every glowing story turns out to be true.

Following the conclusion of tvN’s The Village Barber, producing director Son Soo Jung offered a candid look behind the scenes—and what she revealed only reinforced what fans have long believed about the actor.
According to the PD, Park Bo Gum’s kindness wasn’t something that switched on when cameras started rolling. If anything, it became even more evident when they stopped. After filming had completely wrapped and the cameras were turned off, Park Bo Gum spent hours walking through the village late into the night, knocking on doors to greet residents he hadn’t had the chance to meet. He didn’t leave until nearly midnight, despite having a film shoot scheduled the very next day.

In an era where celebrity personas are often carefully curated, Park Bo Gum remains a gem. No wonder the people who worked with him say the same thing: What you see on screen is exactly who he is!
