A male idol’s unexpected reaction to watching real-life traffic accident footage has become the source of a heated debate online.
The idol in question, Kyuhyun of Super Junior, was seen absolutely shaken while the production crew of the popular JTBC variety show, Han Moon Cheol’s Blackbox Review, showed its panelists a video of a real-life traffic accident.

While every cast member was physically in a state of shock watching the video, Kyuhyun was seen completely frozen with his mouth hanging open, almost as if in a silent scream.

This reaction sparked heated backlash against the show as fans felt that the footage made Kyuhyun relive the trauma of his own serious car accident that put him in a coma.

However, many countered this criticism, pointing out that Kyuhyun had been a permanent cast member on this show since episode one and was well aware of the kind of content it dealt with. Fans felt that the criticism was going too far and that the idol was fully capable of making these decisions on his own.
Personally I don’t think it was particularly traumatic for Kyuhyun or anything, it was just that the accident video was very shocking and everyone there was equally shocked as well
