- The first stills have dropped on tvN for the suspense and rom-com Love in Disguise (previously My Guilty Human), showcasing our story’s chaebol Im Shi-wan (Squid Game 3) next to undercover police officer Seol In-ah (Oh My Ghost Clients), who is posing as his secretary. Directed by PD Park Dan-hee (Tastefully Yours, Weak Hero Class 1) with scripts by Moon Su-jung, the webnovel remake will be airing later this year and streaming internationally on Amazon Prime. - Promos continue on ENA with the newest posters and video teaser for Doctor on the Edge, summoning Lee Jae-wook (Last Summer) for his army duty (which is meta for the actor in real-life) and stationing him to serve as a doctor in a remote region lacking medical care. Working alongside Shin Ye-eun (The Murky Stream), Hong Min-ki (To My Beloved Thief), Lee Soo-kyung (When Life Gives You Tangerines), and Kim Yoon-woo (Gyeongseong Creature 1), the webtoon-adaptation will be launching on June 1. - Speaking of webtoons, Lee Hee-joon (The Scarecrow) and Ryu Hye-young (The Nice Guy) have reportedly been cast to Disney+’s Moving 2, adding to the already extensive ensemble of talents. With a good chunk of Season 1’s characters returning to reprise their roles, production for the sequel is currently in the early stages. - Soo-hyun (Gyeongseong Creature 2) is said to be joining Paper Man, potentially becoming a judge and wife to Jo Jung-seok (Captivating the King). Also starring a North Korean money counterfeiter Park Hae-soo (The Scarecrow), the black comedy and crime series will likely release on Netflix. Preparations are ongoing to start filming soon, with PD Lee Il-hyung (Karma) and writer Kim Bong-joo leading the team. [Xports News]
- In the meantime, Netflix is gearing up for The WONDERfools to make their colorful entrance, empowering Park Eun-bin (Hyper Knife), Cha Eun-woo (Wonderful World), Choi Dae-hoon (Pro Bono), and Im Sung-jae (Law and the City) in the latest poster and trailer.
