tvN’s newest office rom-com See You at Work Tomorrow (previously Back to Work) stars Park Ji-hyun (You and Everything Else) and Seo In-guk (Boyfriend on Demand) as two workaholics trying their best to succeed at love and work.
Seo In-guk plays the calm and principled Kang Shi-woo. He is known around the office as “3 NO” (NO smile, NO people, NO sorry) and surprisingly, he really enjoys the nickname. A cold and prickly perfectionist, Shi-woo is every worker’s nightmare supervisor, and our leading lady pretty much agrees that he is insufferable.
Cha Ji-yoon, played by Park Ji-hyun, is a 7-year company veteran and has fallen into a slump. Though she is good at her job, she wakes up every morning wishing to quit, and Shi-woo notices her habit of choosing the second best in her work. Their relationship gets worse when he catches her badmouthing him in the office, and our burnout worker has another reason to dread the next day.
Filling out the office is Kang Mina (If Wishes Could Kill) as Yoon No-ah. She has worked at the company for five years and has been with the same boyfriend for seven. However, her predictable life suddenly hits a bump when university student Lee Jae-in, played by Won Kyu-bin (Bitch x Rich 2), takes an interest in her. He thinks their meeting is fate, but No-ah calls him crazy, especially when he drops honorifics and treats her like a peer despite the six-year age gap.
Coming in to throw a wrench into the main couple’s romance is Choi Kyung-hoon (The Tale of Lady Ok) as Jo Ga-eul. He is a band vocalist as well as Ji-yoon’s first love. He wants to rekindle things with Ji-yoon, but she reminds him that he broke up with her to pursue his music career.
The upcoming webtoon adaptation will be directed by PD Jo Eun-sol (Perfect Shot) with scripts by Kim Kyung-min. See You at Work Tomorrow is slated for twelve episodes and premieres June 22 in the Monday-Tuesday slot.
