A top girl group K-Pop idol revealed a behind-the-scenes story about fainting while on stage performing, an incident that shocked all viewers and fans at the time.
Recently, a video titled “Hyeri, what’s going on? You’re telling us things you shouldn’t…” was uploaded on YouTube.
On that day, Park Kyung Hye asked Hyeri, “Have you ever fainted?” In response, Hyeri said, “If you search, it comes up. It happened when I was young,” recalling her time with Girls’ Day.
Hyeri said, “After doing curling at the ‘Idol Star Athletics Championships,’ I came home feeling really cold. So I turned on an electric blanket and slept, but even though I kept turning the temperature up, I was still cold. I thought I was sick, so I went to the hospital.”
Despite being sick, Hyeri had to perform on a music show stage. She explained, “If we pre-recorded, they could have aired the recording, but the timing didn’t work out. We were too busy. So we performed live,” adding, “Before going up on stage, I thought I couldn’t do it. I kept lying down until the moment I went up. When I went on and was doing the first verse, I couldn’t remember the choreography when I had to raise my arm.”
She continued, “My face was soaked with sweat. When I finally sat down at the end, I relaxed and felt like I was going to vomit. Then I collapsed.”
