Singaporean actor Ayden Sng and Chinese actor Lyu Si Tong (also known as Lu Si Tong) play lovers in the new BL (Boys’ Love) romance Double Helix. The series premiered on May 28, boosting Ayden and Si Tong’s popularity to new heights.
On June 1, disturbing video clips from an airport mobbing began circulating widely on social media, sparking outrage and concern for the actors’ safety. While crossing the airport, Ayden and Si Tong were pushed to the ground by a crowd that pressed in on them from all sides.
The footage shows the pair, visibly overwhelmed and trying to protect themselves, with Ayden shielding Si Tong. He cushioned Si Tong’s fall and held him against himself while cradling his head.
