An SM Entertainment idol openly shared his past dating experiences and went off-script during the broadcast.
JTBC‘s new reality show Love War, premiering on the 23rd, features experienced daters Lee Hyori, Seo Jang Hoon, and Super Junior‘s Kim Heechul observing couples on the verge of breaking up, discussing realistically whether they should keep dating or part ways.
As the three cast members reveal their inner thoughts, the show not only delves into the couples’ stories but also exposes the cast’s own views on love, drawing much anticipation.
In the teaser, Kim Heechul showed the biggest emotional shift. He initially joked, “I’m an idol, so I don’t really know about dating,” but then surprised viewers by shedding his idol image with candid remarks.
Kim Heechul gave straightforward advice like, “Just go ahead and kiss once,” and even self-disclosed, “My first relationship was with an older woman I met at a nightclub,” continuously revealing hidden experiences.
He recalled fondly, “I was happy when the woman I was dating paid for the PC bang,” and honestly confessed, “Just thinking about seeing my girlfriend made me excited the moment I grabbed the steering wheel.”
He also vividly shared, “Even when I was busy, I still managed to send texts like, ‘I’m about to go on the Star King recording,’” reflecting on his time in love.
Reacting to Kim Heechul’s uninhibited love talk, Lee Hyori teased, “Your ex-girlfriend must have been a group leader,” adding, “This is great. Today I’ll strip you bare and cause a scandal,” turning the scene into a laughter-filled moment.
JTBC’s Love War will premiere on Tuesday the 23rd at 8:50 PM.
