Former SeeYa member and now-actress Nam Gyu Ri has revealed that she once received confessions from three different male celebrities at the same time.
On a recent episode of YouTube show hosted by Lee Yong Jin, Nam Gyu Ri appeared as a guest and shared surprising stories from her dating past. During the conversation, she recalled a particularly memorable birthday when multiple celebrities simultaneously expressed their interest in her. According to Nam Gyu Ri, some of the men went to extraordinary lengths to win her over.
“They were all different people, but they contacted me around my birthday. Some came to my company or waited in front of my house. Some even wrote songs for me. There were people who decorated cars with events for me. One person even bought me an extremely expensive luxury gift, and I had to return it.”
The confession immediately surprised host Lee Yong Jin, who couldn’t help but ask whether any of the admirers were famous singers.
“There were a lot. I mean… there were a few. Around three. There were [famous actors] amongst them.”
The host continued by asking whether she had ever considered dating one of them. To the surprise of viewers, Nam Gyu Ri said she rejected all three. She explained that she was completely focused on her career at the time. Although she refused to reveal the identities of the celebrities involved, she hinted that all of them went on to become successful public figures.
“They’re all doing well. They became successful and very famous.”
Following the broadcast, netizens couldn’t help but speculate about which singers and actors may have been among the three mystery celebrities who once competed for Nam Gyu Ri’s attention.
