AND2BLE member Gyuvin left fans both shocked and laughing after accidentally sending a rather unexpected message on a fan communication platform due to a Chinese translation mistake.
The idol was sharing a funny story from his day when he revealed that he had a major brain freeze while trying to eat ice cream and use his phone at the same time. According to Gyuvin, he was holding a SsangSsang Bar ice cream in one hand and his phone in the other when he accidentally removed his phone case and nearly brought his phone to his mouth instead of the ice cream. Wanting to describe the “reality check” he experienced after realizing what he had done, Gyuvin apparently used a Chinese translation tool. Unfortunately, the phrase he selected was “xiánzhě shíjiān.” While the term literally translates to “sage time,” it is widely used online to refer to the feeling of sudden rationality or emptiness after sexual release.
Fans immediately noticed the unexpected phrase. Gyuvin quickly corrected himself and provided the accurate word instead.

Many speculated that Gyuvin had used the Korean slang “hyeonta onda,” which is commonly used to describe a sudden reality check or existential feeling, to make the translation. It is derived from the mistranslated Chinese phrase as well, but over time, modern day users have been using it in Korea to mean “reality check” without any sexual connotations.
Fortunately, fans found the mistake more adorable than controversial!
