Taiwanese actress and TV personality Dee Hsu expressed her longing for her sister, the late Barbie Hsu, who passed away last year.

On the 15th, Dee Hsu mentioned her birthday on her Instagram account, saying, “My sister will forever remain 48 years old, and I just turned 48 today!”
She continued, “From now on, I will become my sister’s older sister. It’s now my turn to protect her and keep her updated on what’s happening at home~ Don’t worry, I’m here! Barbie, you have became the star in the sky that lights up my darkness,” revealing her heartfelt feelings. Barbie Hsu’s husband, DJ Koo (also known as Koo Jun Yup), shared his empathy by liking the post.
Koo Jun Yup and Barbie Hsu dated for about a year starting in 1998 before breaking up, but they dramatically reunited more than 20 years later after Barbie Hsu’s divorce, marrying in March 2022.
However, Barbie Hsu suddenly passed away at age 48 last year during a family trip to Japan, due to pneumonia accompanied by the flu. Since then, Koo Jun Yup has been spotted visiting her gravesite despite bad weather, and his noticeably gaunt appearance has drawn sympathy.
