Would You Rather #67
by DaebakGrits
In dramaland, leading ladies often find themselves torn between the love of two equally attractive men — a choice none of us would want to make! But what if you did have to pick between the frustrating lawyer and the adorkable police officer? In this feature, we ask you to make the difficult decisions — and we aren’t limiting our options to dreamy oppas.
Vote via the poll and feel free to use the comments to explain exactly how you were able to choose! So, Beanies:
WOULD YOU RATHER #66 RESULTS
Our previous Would You Rather prompt asked Beanies to choose between fighting off numerous — but easy — villains or picking a battle with a single — but far more powerful — bad guy. And after much deliberation and voting, the final consensus was that it would be better to put one’s energy towards a single difficult opponent. @ryunami pointed out that the repeated battles would be needlessly tiring, and @welh640 likened the experience to a “daily office grind.” Most Beanies, such as @redfox and @jerrykuvira, agreed and believed it would be far more efficient and satisfying to fight one villain and be done with the ordeal. @xpressemu went so far as to compare this Would You Rather to “tweezing [her] eyebrows or just ripping that wax off at once.” Better to just get it over and take the rest of the decade off, like @lordcobol, than deal with prolonged suffering.
That being said, not all Beanies opted to battle one villain. Many, like @goldeng, @darkcc, and @unaspirated took a more pragmatic approach and factored in their real-life fighting abilities — or lack thereof — and, knowing they didn’t stand a chance against a top level boss baddie, they chose to suffer through the grind. @abalyn, after years of teaching, also felt pretty confident in her stamina, so long as she still got “six weeks off after to reclaim [her] soul.” And then there was @gikata, who claimed to have so much “pent up rage” that a single fight wouldn’t cut it, and as a result welcomed an endless supply of grunts to beat to a pulp. (Note to self: do not criticize Gikata’s favorite dramas…)
