Lee Do Hyun in Talks for Big Budget Action Thriller K-drama Destroyer of Destruction

Looks like K-actor Lee Do Hyun is coming back in a big way post military discharge last year around May 2025. He’s since filmed fantasy K-drama Grand Galaxy Hotel the companion or spin-off drama to Hotel Del Luna, and now he’s in talks for a big budget action drama Destroyer of Destruction (or God of Destruction). He’s based on a webtoon and tells of an organized crime top hitman who goes into witness protection and then uses his skills for good to protect the downtrodden and those in danger. Looks like the grey anti-hero theme is on for K-dramas, and definitely hits that spot for satisfying beatdowns of the villains even more bad than the anti-hero himself. Vincenzo did it to hitmaking effect a few years ago and I’m looking forward to Lee Do Hyun’s take on it.
