She also brought up past allegations of bullying.

Recently, ex-AOA member Kwon Mina revealed that she had attempted to take her own life.

On January 1, KST, the idol revealed that she was rescued after attempting to commit suicide, also detailing a history of abuse and other mistreatment in another post.

The post also included bits about the alleged bullying she faced while active as a member of AOA, which were initially met with sympathy before her subsequent issues led to a question of authenticity. Her comments about AOA and its former leader Jimin led to Jimin leaving the group, along with its continued inactivity.

Since the posts were made, Mina has deleted her Instagram account entirely, despite the upcoming fan meeting event.

Netizens recently discussed Mina online in a post titled “But honestly, isn’t former AOA member Kwon Mina kind of shameless?,” where a number of reactions were given. Among them, most netizens either criticized how her behavior affected others or emphasized they believed she needed professional mental health help.

    • Your pain can’t be a free pass to hurt other people. If you hurt someone else just because you’re hurting, then you’re also a perpetrator.
    • That said, is there really a need for third parties to drag posts from someone who’s clearly mentally unwell just to criticize and provoke them? Unless you’re someone close to them, why not just leave it alone. It’s obvious they’re sick and not in a normal state.
    • They say they’ve moved on from the past, but then at the start of the new year they suddenly bring up a former teammate and act like they’re struggling again—I honestly don’t understand that.
    • And if something seriously goes wrong, the comments will just be full of people blaming malicious commenters. Instead of leaving hate comments, just let someone who’s mentally struggling focus on recovering. Please, just leave them alone for now. The priority is that the person survives.
