Former F4 member Vanness Wu surprised fans after announcing his marriage on June 29, leaving many wondering about the identity of his new wife.
The mystery was soon solved after Taiwanese media reported that the bride is Japanese singer and actress Emi Aramaki. According to ETtoday, the couple registered their marriage in Las Vegas in May, with Vanness’ record label, B’in Music, confirming Emi’s identity.
Emi Aramaki was born in Fukuoka, Japan, before moving to England at the age of nine. She later graduated from University College London (UCL), where she majored in History. After completing her studies, Emi pursued an international entertainment career while commuting between Tokyo, London, and Los Angeles.
She officially debuted as a singer in July 2021 with her first single, “Lonely Night.” In addition to her music career, Emi has also built an acting résumé. She is set to appear in the upcoming BBC series The Hairdresser Mysteries and was also cast in the final season of CBS‘s FBI: International (2025).
On June 29, Vanness shared the happy news through Instagram alongside a photo of two hands wearing matching wedding bands. He continued by expressing gratitude for returning to the stage with his fellow F4 members before revealing another life-changing milestone. The actor concluded by thanking fans for their years of support and wishing them the same happiness he has found.
Although neither Vanness nor Emi had publicly discussed their relationship prior to the announcement, fans quickly flooded social media with congratulatory messages. Vanness was previously married to Singaporean entrepreneur Arissa Cheo from 2013 to 2018.
