On July 4, the idol shared a letter on her Instagram account revealing the news, saying that she found someone precious who supports her. She also apologized if the new was surprising or sudden, promising to continue to work hard.

Today, I have something I’d like to share with you carefully.
Even though it’s happy news, I feel incredibly sorry that I’m telling you so suddenly. More than anything, I keep thinking about how surprised you must be. Because you’ve always trusted me, waited for me, and stood by me through not only my performances and songs but also the moments of my life, I regret not being able to tell you sooner or in a better way.
Even as I write this, I’m being very careful because I know everyone will have different feelings when they hear this.
