With there being monetary gifts, there are issues that can arise if an idol begins to show favoritism.
Recent, this appears to be the issue with THE KINGDOM member Arthur.

THE KINGDOM is currently on hiatus, as some members carry out their military service.
The other members have honed in on solo activities, with some focusing on TikTok live streaming as a way to entertain and connect with fans.
While this can be simple fun, some fans have pointed out that Arthur’s streams have taken a turn. Initially, some fans pointed out that Arthur had blocked them from his streams.
The alleged cause of it was connected to the actions of a fan known to many as Jamie, who was noted to be a big spender in his streams. So much so, that the two reportedly began corresponding privately after he DMed her and gave her his KakaoTalk information.
The fan in question, believed to be in her 40s or 50s was seemingly angered by Arthur, leading them to expose him and their messages.
Some of these included details into how Arthur was allegedly emotionally manipulating fans while minimizing the amount of work he needs to do.

The reason for the exposure appears to be that Arthur threatened to sue her, resulting in her retaliation.
Many have expressed surprise over the information, questioning both parties involved.
