Jung Hae In has publicly shown his support for Kim Soo Hyun following the actor’s return to the entertainment industry.
On July 14, Philippine clothing brand Bench announced that Kim Soo Hyun had rejoined the brand as one of its models. The company shared photos from his latest campaign shoot, writing, “We’re together with the Bench family once again.”
The photos marked Kim Soo Hyun’s first official schedule in around one year and four months. Holding a bouquet of flowers, the actor smiled as he was welcomed back by the brand.
As the post gained attention online, fans noticed that Jung Hae In had liked the upload, a move many interpreted as a public show of support.
Although the post was made by Bench rather than Kim Soo Hyun himself, Jung Hae In’s interaction quickly became a topic of discussion.
The gesture has drawn attention because the two actors have remained friends despite the controversy surrounding Kim Soo Hyun last year. They became close while appearing together as part of the “88z” friend group. During the height of the controversy, some netizens even urged Jung Hae In to unfollow Kim Soo Hyun on social media.
However, Jung Hae In never publicly distanced himself from the actor.

Kim Soo Hyun suspended his activities following allegations made after the death of the late actress Kim Sae Ron. He later pursued legal action against those behind the claims.
Last month, YouTuber Kim Se Ui, head of Garosero Research Institute, was indicted and taken into custody on multiple charges. Investigators also concluded that audio recordings and KakaoTalk messages presented as evidence against Kim Soo Hyun had been fabricated or manipulated.
