An SM Entertainment idol shared a story about getting into a fight with one fellow member, while other members gathered around to watch with excitement.
On July 24th, the MBN and Channel S show Moo No Plan 4 aired an episode where Jun Hyun Moo and Kwaktube visited a popular restaurant in Hapcheon with Super Junior‘s Shindong, their “food buddy.”
During the show, Jun Hyun Moo asked, “Whenever Super Junior comes up, the stories always involve members fighting. Have you ever fought with someone?”
Shindong replied, “It wouldn’t be right if I didn’t share a fighting story. There was a time I almost had a big fight with Yesung.”
He recalled, “I was on a strict diet and trying hard to hold back at night. I went to Inkigayo and sat alone on the sofa eating an idol sandwich. I don’t remember exactly what Yesung said, but when he said, ‘You’re eating again?’ it really struck a nerve.”
He continued, “It was nothing serious, but since I was dieting and struggling at the time, hearing that made me really angry, so I teased Yesung back. Then Yesung said, ‘Hey, do you want to die?’ and I bluntly responded, ‘Aren’t you a crazy xxxxxxx?’ even though he’s a hyung.”
Shindong added, “Since Yesung is slim, I thought I could win. I even did judo when I was younger. The members nearby didn’t step in but gathered around with excited looks like they were waiting for a show. The manager eventually came and stopped us,” making everyone laugh.
Shindong also ranked the fighting ability among Super Junior members, saying, “In my opinion, first place would be Siwon. He practices taekwondo and learned boxing while acting in dramas.”
He said, “Second place is a bit ambiguous, but I think I’m either second or third. Donghae would fight well too—he’s muscular and does boxing. I really can’t beat him in boxing.”
He added, “The rest are all about the same. Last place would definitely be Ryeowook. I think he would fight by playing with cat-like light punches, pinching, and biting.”
