An anecdote about Kim Jong Kook being surprised by Yoo Jae Suk’s wedding gift was revealed.
On July 27th, tvN’s You Quiz on the Block released a video with the caption, “25 years of chemistry with Jae Suk. From wedding behind-the-scenes stories revealed on You Quiz to stories about Jong Kook that even Jae Suk heard for the first time.”
In the video, Yoo Jae Suk asked, “It hasn’t even been a year since you got married, right?” Kim Jong Kook replied, “Two months left. I have to prepare a gift,” sharing his recent status ahead of his first wedding anniversary.
Then Yoo Jae Suk brought up the story about Kim Jong Kook’s wedding congratulatory money. He said, “After the wedding, when I met Kim Jong Kook at the next recording, he said, ‘Why did you give so much? You must be crazy.’” Kim Jong Kook responded, “That’s right. Why did you give so much?” expressing his gratitude again.
Yoo Jae Suk added, “Suk Jin hyung was next to me, but to him, you just said ‘Thanks for coming,’” which made everyone laugh. Then Kim Jong Kook joked, “He didn’t give (the congratulatory money) as much as you did,” adding more laughter.
