Recently, an online community post went viral after fans found out the actual details behind influencer invites to a K-Pop concert.
It was revealed that an influencer accidentally posted the details of the Stray Kids meet-and-greet notice, even though they had been specifically told not to post it on social media.
In the photos, it showed that influencers were provided light sticks for the show.
They also received VIP tickets to the show, which included a meet-and-greet.
Many were shocked that they would hold a meet-and-greet for people who weren’t even fans.
(가족 제외 말하는거임) https://t.co/CFNPOMaEmp pic.twitter.com/bk29NyUP1a

F*ck the meet-and-greet… usually the company includes it in the ticket price and holds it inside the venue… why are they holding a meet-and-greet backstage for people who aren’t even fans?
As a result, this garnered a divided response from netizens.

- “This is really bad marketing…”
- “But Stray Kids being around for a long time, they are the ones to blame. Idols that truly communicate and think of their fans don’t even invite their parents to a concert that doesn’t have enough seats even for fans.”
- “But why is everyone blaming them? They need to be criticizing the company.”
- “I really don’t understand why they invite influencers to an idol concert. Not just Stray Kids, but I wish other idols wouldn’t invite them either.”
- “Can’t believe they gave them section 8 seats too…”
- “Didn’t they sell out of tickets? Why are they inviting influencers?”
