- New posters have dropped on Disney+ for the crime-thriller Bloody Flower (previously Flower of Death), presenting us with twisted serial killer Ryeoun (Weak Hero Class 2) whose modus operandi is for the ‟greater good” of medical science. Pitting him against attorney Sung Dong-il (Pro Bono) and prosecutor Geum Sae-rok (Iron Family), the novel-adaptation will be launching on February 4 next month. [Newsen]
- On SBS, we’re confronted with an irate Kim Hye-yoon (Lovely Runner) and Lomon (Family Matters) in the latest poster and teaser because our gumiho heroine now has No Tail to Tell. Beginning its tale on January 16, the fantasy rom-com follows Taxi Driver 3 on weekends, with PD Kim Jung-kwon (Maestra – Strings of Truth, Love to Hate You) directing alongside co-writing by Park Chan-young and Jo Ah-young. - Park Ji-hyun (You and Everything Else) is reviewing an offer to become a pilot-in-training for Love Cloud, potentially reuniting with an air traffic controller Song Joong-ki (My Youth) after acting together in Reborn Rich. Expected to broadcast later this year, production for the office rom-com is in the early stages with PD Song Min-yub (High Cookie, Youth of May) attached to direct. [My Daily, Newsen]
- In the meantime, tvN is getting the nursery ready for Our Universe and there’s already plenty of cute in the rom-com’s first poster. Sadly, though, Baby’s parents have met an early death, leading to co-parenting and co-habitation hijinks with paternal uncle-turned-dad Bae In-hyuk (Check In Hanyang) and maternal aunt-turned-mom Noh Jung-eui (Crushology 101). Slated to premiere on February 4, the series will also be kicking off tvN’s newly resurrected Wednesday-Thursday slot. [Newsen]
- Family and ~love~ are at the heart of KBS’s Recipe for Love as well, preparing us for cozy weekends with Park Ki-woong (The Midnight Studio) and Jin Se-yeon (Bad Memory Eraser) in the newest batch of stills. Following Our Golden Days on January 31 this month, the team has PD Han Joon-seo (The Real Has Come) at the helm with scripts penned by Park Ji-sook (The Tale of Lady Ok). [KBS]
