Kim Heechul, who stopped his Knowing Bros appearances, revealed the income he earned from the program in comparison to what he earns from Super Junior.
On August 1st, a video titled “The Universe Superstar Kim Heechul, the First Idol Who Nearly Participated in a Control Diss Battle” was uploaded on YouTube.
During the broadcast, guest Jang Ji Soo asked, “If Super Junior has 13 members, is the revenue split into 13 parts?” He then inquired about Kim Heechul’s income, asking, “Was it hard to make ends meet in the early days of your debut?”
In response, Kim Heechul said, “There were times when appearing on broadcasts actually put me at a loss. Still, I earned enough to get by.”
Additionally, Kim Heechul candidly stated, “I earned more income appearing on JTBC‘s Knowing Bros than when I was active as a member of Super Junior.” He explained, “Knowing Bros paid me individually for appearances, so there was a difference.”
Kim Heechul debuted as a member of Super Junior in 2005 and became a regular member of JTBC’s variety show Knowing Bros in 2015, creating countless memorable moments. However, he halted his appearances in April.
