Ahn Bo-hyun announces his return as Flex x Cop 2

Counting down to premiere day this week, SBS’s Flex x Cop 2 has been pushing out new teasers to while away the wait. And in three more days, our chaebol detective Ahn Bo-hyun (Spring Fever) will be fighting crime once again in the upcoming Season 2, this time joined by frenemy Jung Eun-chae (Honour).
After completing training at the police academy, the now official cop Jin Yi-soo (Ahn Bo-hyun) is thrilled to be back with his Season 1 teammates – Kang Sang-joon (Azure Spring) and Kim Shin-bi (The First Night With the Duke) – in the violent crimes unit. But to Yi-soo’s dismay, their new team leader is none other than Joo Hye-ra (Jung Eun-chae), his nightmare instructor from the police academy.
There’s no time to sulk, though, as there are criminals to catch and even the police chief Ryu Tae-ho (Fifties Professionals) complains about the sudden flood of cases. Starting off with murder at the Rosebud Hotel, there is then suspicious death at a magic show. Our crew then shuffle off to investigate the evil human spirit’s curse at an arts school, before stumbling on an eerie cemetery of killers. And then they are attacked by a serial bomber.
Over the action, we catch a glimpse of Heo Sung-tae (Fifties Professionals) and Jeon Hye-bin (Beyond the Bar) – among other baddies – in addition to Yoo Seung-ho (Deal) who greets Yi-soo with a friendly hug, calling him, ‟Hyung.” However, Yi-soo soon realizes the truth behind those smiles. And our story’s police team rally together in order to save another day.
Helmed by PD Kim Jae-hong (Revenant) with writing by Kim Ba-da (My Name), SBS’s crime-comedy Flex x Cop 2 will be coming to our screens on August 7 in the weekend slot.
