HYBE’s newest girl group hasn’t even debuted yet, but one member is already drawing the attention of brands despite previous controversy.

TUIDE is the first act out of ABD, a new HYBE label under Pledis Entertainment built specifically for girl group production. The seven-member group recently released a pre-debut track, “GRLS,” but their initial rollout hasn’t been smooth. As soon as the lineup was announced, the members were hit with malicious comments over their visuals. In particular, maknae Yi Hani was singled out with some of the harshest criticism.

Now, however, the tide appears to be turning for the 15-year-old Korean British idol. This week, Swiss luxury brand Vetements posted Yi Hani’s teaser photo to its official Instagram, showing her in the label’s clothing.
The post quickly caught fans’ attention, with many speculating it could point to an actual brand endorsement deal in the works ahead of TUIDE’s debut.

Since the initial backlash, many K-Pop fans have hit back at the group’s critics, praising Yi Hani for her “cute” and “unique” looks.
