Recently, the K-Pop fandom survival variety program Fandom Stage came to a close after SHINee fans, known as SHINee World, won the show.
During their winning speech, the fans sent a special message to Jonghyun.

However, not long after the broadcast, fans began calling out the SHINee fans for being an OT4 stan.

They were disappointed that they would choose fans who did not support all five members on a public show to represent the fandom.

One fan even claimed that one of the producers of the show had previously recruited an OT4 for a show in 2021.

I am so grossed out by that show. The producers who didn’t background check social media accounts should be fired. The shawols who knew there were OT4 among them should have refused to go on. It’s a hollow victory and a mockery of SHINee as a group.
