Nam Ji-hyun, Hwang In-yub
- Nam Ji-hyun (To My Beloved Thief) has reportedly been cast in a new office romance called Deep Confession: 183 Hz (roughly translated), acting opposite Hwang In-yub (Dream to You). Adapted from the popular webnovel that also has a webtoon version, production for the series is currently in the early stages and has PD Kim Young-hwan (My Sweet Mobster) attached to direct. - On Netflix – in another webtoon-adapation – the Mousetrap awaits its prey in the latest bundle of stills, showcasing Ryu Joon-yeol (The 8 Show), Sol Kyung-gu (Hyper Knife), and Lee Kyu-hyung (Kick Kick Kick Kick) among other unsavory characters in our story. The crime-mystery will be launching on August 28 next week, with PD Kim Hong-sun (Dear Hongrang) and writer Lee Jae-gon (A Model Family) leading the team. [Sports Donga]
- Lee Jong-won (You and Everything Else) is in talks for the period fantasy Men of Harem, potentially stepping into the male lead role, following Lee Soo-hyuk‘s (Boyfriend on Demand) bow out due to scheduling conflicts. Headlined by Suzy (Genie Make a Wish) playing the central character, the webnovel-adaptation is expected to release sometime next year. - Casting continues for the supernatural series We Are the Zombies as well, which is said to have Weki Meki’s Kim Do-yeon (Jirisan) reviewing an offer to join D.O. (The Manipulated) in the lineup. With a zombie-inflicted shopping mall being our story’s main setting, Kim is up to play the leader of the human survivors who were left behind by rescue efforts in the comedy-action and webtoon-adaptation. - KBS continues promos with a new batch of character posters for A Love Other Than Yours, drawing the lines to form the main love square in this tale. Starring Seo Kang-joon (Boyfriend on Demand), Ahn Eun-jin (Dynamite Kiss), Lee Joo-ahn (Dream to You), and Jo Ah-ram (To the Moon), the romance is slated to premiere on September 12 and will be airing in the weekend slot.
