A K-Pop girl group member-turned-actress and a beloved actor are becoming a married couple after four years of dating.
According to their personal announcements made on August 24th, former 9MUSES member Jo Ga Bin (also known aa Sojin) and musical actor Hwang Min Soo will hold their wedding ceremony this October.
In her personal message made on social media, Jo Ga Bin said, “I have news I want to share first personally with those who always support and stand by me, so with a nervous heart, I am leaving this message,” adding, “After the lush season passes, we will marry this October when autumn comes.”
About her fiancé, she introduced him as “an actor who sings and acts.” She added, “To me, who had always just kept running forward working hard, he taught me that I don’t have to strive to be perfect, and he showed me how to live flexibly without breaking,” expressing her affection.
She also honestly shared about their four years of dating. Jo Ga Bin said, “During the four years together, we had moments of fighting, but every time, without missing a single moment, he comforted my feelings first over pride and never hesitated to say sorry. He is a warm and loving person,” and added, “I gained the belief that if I am with him, I can gather strength and walk well through all the days ahead.”
Hwang Min Soo also announced the marriage news on the same day, expressing his affection for Jo Ga Bin. He said, “I am getting married this October,” introducing Jo Ga Bin as “the person who has quietly filled my shortcomings and, above all, always stands by my side.”
