A singer who gained public recognition through Mnet‘s K-Pop audition program is about to get married.
On September 12th, an Instagram story was posted by Superstar K3 contestant Shin Ji Su regarding her marriage.
She said, “I wanted to prepare the wedding quietly, but thank you to those who warmly celebrated me without forgetting me as a singer. After two and a half years of a long-distance relationship between Hong Kong and Seoul with someone who is warm when we work together and makes me feel like myself, we are tying the knot as a married couple. We will live well, respecting each other just as we are. Thank you.”
The wedding ceremony is scheduled to take place at 11 a.m. on the 19th at a wedding hall inside a university convention center in Seoul.
Her fiancé is known to be a finance expert who graduated from the Business Administration Department (BBA) at the University of Hong Kong (HKU). After maintaining a long-distance relationship between Hong Kong and Seoul for about two and a half years, they decided to get married.
Ahead of the wedding, Shin Ji Su shared photos of an invitation card gathering with acquaintances. The photos caught attention, featuring an excited Shin Ji Su amidst wedding preparations and a simply designed invitation card.
Shin Ji Su appeared on Mnet’s Superstar K3 in 2011, attracting viewers’ interest with her unique vocal tone. Advancing to the TOP 11 and making a name for herself, she continued her music career, participating in various OST projects.
After about four years as a trainee, Shin Ji Su officially debuted as a singer in 2015 with the mini-album 20’S PARTY 1.
Currently, she is active not only in music but also in the fields of art and design. Under the name “babicasso,” Shin Ji Su works as an artist and designer, pursuing her own creative world.
