A Korean actress revealed the story of how her life was saved because of her K-Pop idol friend’s recommendation.
On September 11th, a video titled “Inviting Adult Women to Brunch Talk” was released on Hyeri’s YouTube channel. In the video, Hyeri and Park Kyung Hye enjoyed brunch together while discussing various topics, including their daily lives and health screenings.
Park Kyung Hye shared, “Something truly thankful happened last year,” and recounted how she unexpectedly underwent a health checkup thanks to Hyeri.
She recalled, “Hyeri suddenly called me and said, ‘Kyung Hye, the doctor from the health screening center will call you. Just take the call and give them your information.’”
Park Kyung Hye added, “I told her I had no plans that day, and she said she thought it would be good if we took the health checkup together. So suddenly, we ended up getting screened together. After we finished, we ate something delicious.”
Although they had no special plans, Hyeri’s sudden suggestion led them to get the health checkup together, but an unexpected event occurred afterward. The issue arose when the test results came back.
Park Kyung Hye explained, “The hospital called the day the results came out. They told me something abnormal was found and asked me to visit.”
She continued, “When I hurried to the hospital, they said, ‘We need to take action on this.’” Ultimately, Park Kyung Hye underwent surgery immediately for further treatment.
What started as a casual health screening ended up detecting a health problem and led to timely treatment. For Park Kyung Hye, Hyeri’s recommendation naturally felt especially meaningful.
