[FANMEETING RECAP] BYEON WOO SEOK OPENS THE “SECRET LIBRARY” IN SINGAPORE, CREATING NEW MEMORIES WITH BELOVED WOO CHE TONGS

An Evening of Shy Smiles and Heartfelt Memories

On 18 September 2026, Byeon Woo Seok welcomed Singaporean Woo Che Tongs, also known as TongTongs, into his very own “Secret Library” at The Star Theatre, as part of his Asia Fanmeeting Tour in Singapore. From the moment he stepped onto the stage, the evening became a collection of precious memories where TongTongs revisited the past and created new memories.

The fanmeeting opened with “Flower Road,” immediately filling the theatre with warm cheers. The host then encouraged fans to chant Byeon Woo Seok’s name, putting the actor in the spotlight and playfully confirming what everyone in the room already knew—he was indeed handsome. His shy reactions only made the moment even more endearing.

Greeting his fans with a bright smile, Byeon Woo Seok settled into a conversation with the host where he reminisced about his previous visit to Singapore. He recalled enjoying chilli crab during his earlier trip, giving TongTongs a glimpse into the memories he had already made in Singapore.

But this time, he had brought something special with him—a library. Byeon Woo Seok explained that the library represents a place where he collects memories from his beloved Woo Che Tongs, while also creating new ones together with them.

The first book was introduced as “The Librarian’s Secret Records,” taking fans through what Byeon Woo Seok had been doing over the past two years. As he spoke about his experiences and his journey, he shared that he now tries to look at each and every one of his fans. He also shared that his goal for the rest of 2026 is to wrap up his new drama properly.

The first book also brought out his playful side through an acting challenge centred around the phrase “okay lah.” Byeon Woo Seok had to deliver the same words in different emotions—happy, sad, and angry. From his expressions to his delivery, each version drew enthusiastic reactions from the audience. Singapore TongTongs were then treated to a chance to recreate some of his most iconic scenes on stage. Two lucky fans were invited up to act alongside him, turning familiar drama moments into brand-new memories inside the Secret Library.

The evening continued with “Sudden Shower,” before a video break gave fans a brief glimpse into another chapter of the night. When Byeon Woo Seok returned to the stage for “No Fate,” he appeared in a new outfit and performed with renewed energy. As the song progressed, he eventually made his way down from the stage to greet fans up close which sent excitement through the theatre.

The second book, “Secret Chapter,” opened with a game that tested just how well Byeon Woo Seok remembered his own past works. His number of correct answers would determine the gifts that TongTongs would receive, turning his memory test into a fun challenge where everyone had something to look forward to. The playful games continued with a heart-pounding challenge where Byeon Woo Seok took on a cute dance challenge.

Next came the third book, “The Librarian’s Recipe.” This chapter was perhaps one of the most heartwarming of the night. Byeon Woo Seok read letters written by TongTongs before stepping into the role of chef, preparing his famous egg roll dish for three lucky Woo Che Tongs.

Carefully beating the eggs and rolling them into neat egg rolls, he put genuine effort into preparing the dish himself. The lucky TongTongs who tasted it complimented his cooking while the rest of the audience watched on with growing hunger. With Byeon Woo Seok cooking on stage and TongTongs enthusiastically reacting to every step, it became one of the most intimate and charming moments of the evening.

The final book was “Destiny’s Bookmark,” where ten lucky winners received special gifts. Byeon Woo Seok also posed for fans and took photos with them, creating tangible keepsakes of the memories made that evening.

As the fanmeeting moved toward its final moments, the atmosphere became increasingly sentimental. Singapore Woo Che Tongs surprised Byeon Woo Seok by singing the chorus of “Sudden Shower” to him, returning the love he had spent the evening giving them.

He then performed “Loveholic” followed by “Fate Line,” bringing the musical portion of the evening to a beautiful close.

During his final comment, Byeon Woo Seok thanked the Singapore Woo Che Tongs and promised that he would come back to Singapore as soon as possible. He also shared that he would continue working hard on filming while making sure to enjoy the shows and moments shared with his fans.

It was definitely a memorable evening where Byeon Woo Seok and TongTongs could pause, look back at the memories they had collected, and create new ones together. And when the final page of the Secret Library closed that night, one thing remained clear: this was not the end of the story—only another memory waiting to be added to the collection.
