Former KAT-TUN member Junnosuke Taguchi surprised fans with two major announcements at once.
The former idol revealed that he has married and welcomed his first child, a son.
Taguchi shared the news through his personal social media on September 22. He said that he married a younger woman who is not a celebrity. He also revealed that the couple recently welcomed their first son.

Taguchi said he met his wife during one of the hardest times in his life.
He said that she felt like a “light of hope” that had entered his life. He also shared that he had thought about marrying her from the time they first met.
Taguchi explained why he waited until after the birth to announce his marriage. His main concern was the safety and health of his wife and baby, and he said he wanted to protect his family from unconfirmed rumors and speculation.
My priority was making sure that the mother and baby could safely and healthily get through the birth.

Born in 1985, Taguchi debuted with KAT-TUN in 2006 with “Real Face.” He left the group in March 2016. He has since continued working in television and business.
