Singer and actress Nana has become the focus of attention amid dating news with former BIGBANG’s T.O.P, particularly regarding comments she made in the past about a male idol.
On the morning of October 2nd, the agencies of Nana and T.O.P confirmed the dating rumors, stating that they have been in a relationship since June. Afterwards, Nana communicated to fans about the news, sparking backlash.

As news of their romance broke, Nana’s past remarks about being attracted to gentle and considerate personalities drew renewed attention. Online, her comments last year about a male idol also resurfaced.
In April 2025, a video went viral showing The Boyz member Sunwoo dropping his AirPods, which were picked up and handed back to him by a nearby security guard. Some netizens criticized Sunwoo for not picking up the item himself, saying it appeared rude.
Nana commented on the video, “He should be scolded,” adding, “That behavior looked disrespectful, and it was quite a shock to me.”
After Nana and T.O.P confirmed their relationship, some netizens expressed skepticism, saying, “She criticized Sunwoo but is dating T.O.P, who has a drug-related criminal record.” Others countered, “That and dating are separate matters.”
T.O.P was previously sentenced to 10 months in prison with a two-year probation and fined ₩12,000 KRW (about $8.93 USD) for marijuana use. His probation period has since ended, and he remains active in the entertainment industry, appearing in Squid Game 2 and releasing a full album.
