SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu has been pulled into dating rumors surrounding a recent trip the idol took.
SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu
Mingyu recently began his military enlistment but was allegedly spotted in Spain in early October, sparking backlash.

Photos shared from that time showed the idol with friends, but new claims include “proof” of his trip being with an alleged girlfriend. A photo of Mingyu on a golf course, along with one published by an influencer have been alleged to show them at the same place.
Ohh Mingyu has a girlfriend? They even traveled to Spain together andplayed golf together. It seems like he really wants to make it public liking his girlfriend’s photos so fans will know. No wonder he chose to do public service so it would be easier for him to date.#Mingyu #민규 pic.twitter.com/VZ8JqezpBG

Normalized kpop idols dating so we will know if kpop stans are really here for the music or the parasocialness and “control” they have with idols. I think that’s the reason why kpop stans are not taken seriously too cuz everyone is too parasocial https://t.co/U5q6uVpKIK

Others have insisted the story is entirely fabricated, claiming that images have been edited to attempt to defame Mingyu with false information.

Instead of dismissing this fake rumor that is shared by antis, stupid carats are liking, spreading this by saying “we are supporting mingyu’s relationship” as if it is legit news to show themselves as a woke, not delulu jealous fangirl fandom https://t.co/pkHoO8LVr6

carats please spread this. if you zoom in on the supposed screenshot proof, you can literally see how heavily edited it is. the like was deliberately placed underneath the post to make it seem like he specifically liked that post. https://t.co/ubg80wZ2SX pic.twitter.com/y8fMPSwD6G
