On the episode of SBS‘s Running Man aired on the 11th, the group Apink appeared as guests and took part in a mission.
Song Ji Hyo teamed up with Haha, Eunji, and Hayoung to play a game where they had to look at picture cards and answer correctly. However, from the very first turn, she kept making mistakes, prompting Haha to gently encourage her by saying, “Ji Hyo, I wish you would show some fighting spirit.”
Song Ji Hyo switched seats to get more involved but continued to make mistakes in the following turns. Playfully, Haha scolded her in a teasing tone, “Are you going to quit drinking or not? Swear on it quickly. Promise me.” Song Ji Hyo explained, “I got confused,” but soon promised, “I will quit drinking,” which made everyone laugh.
This follows after Song Ji Hyo recently revealed on her YouTube channel that she is a heavy drinker.
When the production team asked in the video, “Aren’t you thinking of quitting drinking?” Song Ji Hyo firmly replied, “No, absolutely not.”
When asked if she had any resolutions for the New Year, Song Ji Hyo shared, “Today, while looking at the calendar in the office, I had a moment of realization. I thought, ‘Am I going to live like this forever?’ People make resolutions at New Year’s, right? I thought I should cut back on drinking a little.”
When asked how often she drinks per week, she hesitated briefly and then confessed, “Until two weeks ago, I was drinking five times a week.“
