A reality TV show cast member showed a stubborn attitude again shortly after expressing his willingness to change.
In the JTBC variety show Divorce Camp aired on October 22nd, boxing champion husband Bae Young Gil promised to change through counseling with Lee Ho Sun.
However, Bae Young Gil immediately reversed his stance after talking with another cast couple known as the “Fair Couple.” The two husbands shared patriarchal values and maintained a friendly atmosphere. They expressed dislike for their wives talking back and even argued that paternity tests should be done in advance to avoid future trouble, causing shock.
Earlier, during counseling with Lee Ho Sun, Bae Young Gil reflected on his mistakes and promised to change, but he remained stubborn afterward.
When his wife Yoo Hee Jung suggested giving the wardrobe to their eldest son and sleeping together in the master bedroom, Bae Young Gil insisted on watching TV in the living room and sleeping on the sofa. He acknowledged his stubborn personality, saying, “I’ve lived my way until now; people don’t change easily.”
Having even shed tears during counseling while pledging change, Bae Young Gil’s return to his old attitude raises doubts about whether he can keep his promise to change.
