Two popular actresses are facing heated criticism over their latest “unflattering” event looks.

Earlier this week, Kim Tae Hee and Lee Min Jung attended high-end jewelry brand FRED’s 90th anniversary event. Known to many as the “Nation’s Goddess,” Kim Tae Hee arrived in a long, cream dress, and netizens’ reactions were far from kind.

The dress featured a corset that tightly constricted Kim’s upper body. Despite her slim figure, the fit was so snug that her shoulders and back bulged out over the edges of the dress according to netizens. Some claimed that the 46-year-old Hi Bye, Mama! actress, who is married to singer Rain, looked uncomfortable in the outfit, while others said it made her look as though she’d gained weight.

Lee Min Jung, meanwhile, wore a white tube-top dress that looked like a simple one-piece from the front — but from behind, it was a different story. 44-year-old Lee, who rose to fame in Boys Over Flowers and is married to popular actor Lee Byung Hun, also donned a constricted dress with a zippered, corset-style back.
