While sharing personal anecdotes from her last tour, Giselle shared a “bad juju talk”, revealing her real-life experience of being haunted. The idol mentioned that while she was on tour with aespa, she brought a book with her, which she refused to name publicly. She recalled feeling “bad vibes” while it was in her hotel room and even having a nightmare, though she admitted that she suffered from sleep paralysis and nightmares pretty often. She also admitted that while she had the book with her, she had some randomly negative incidents happen, even though she wasn’t affected physically.

The incident that she shared following this revelation presumably also happened in New York. Giselle recalled waking up from a nightmare when she got a call from a friend, who told her to get rid of the book. When she asked for the reason, she revealed that she had a terrifying dream.
She said, “I just had a dream, and I just knew it was you. And it just said, ‘It’s still here.’ Like that’s it. And I just knew it was you.”…I was creeped out anyway, so I decided to throw it away.

The idol went ahead to perform some well-known rituals to cleanse the energy in her room, including burning sage and burning a black candle near her door. She left for dinner afterward, and at the restaurant, she handed the book to her manager, asking her to throw it away. Following the dinner, she had drinks with some staff members in her room. As the conversations progressed, Giselle realized that one of the other staff members had the book with them at that very moment. She admitted to being extremely freaked out that the object made its way back to her and ended up insisting to the staff member to throw the book away.
