Seungri has opened up about his wife and soon-to-be born child.
In an exclusive sit-down with Ilgan Sports, Seungri spoke with the media outlet about the rumors surrounding him and his wife. It was previously reported that Seungri would be welcoming his first child, a son, into the world in January 2027 with his girlfriend.
Seungri Rumored To Become A Father In January
Seungri clarified to Ilgan Sports that the woman carrying his child is indeed his wife.
I find it a bit burdensome to go into specifics as it is a private matter, but my wife and I are legally married, and the claim that I got married because she became pregnant is not true.
At this point, we are not considering holding a wedding ceremony.

Ilgan Sports also referred back to a previous interview with Seungri during their investigation of his alleged aggravated assualt case, where he hinted at having a sense of responsibility to his family. Seungri concluded the interview by asking the public to direct their negativity towards him, not his family.
