A Korean star revealed the reason why he has not been able to date.
On October 23rd, a video titled “It’s time to show up now, honey | Seosulla-gil date course” was uploaded on YouTube.
In the video, Kim Dae Ho was shown enjoying a date course along Seosulla-gil, imagining a dating scenario. By chance, he was joined by an elderly couple, and Kim Dae Ho shared his concerns with the middle-aged man at the table.
Kim Dae Ho asked, “Can I ask you just one thing? I haven’t dated in over 10 years. Do you think marriage is absolutely necessary in life?”
The middle-aged man replied, “Absolutely. There’s a unique joy in having children and raising them. Watching your child is the best thing in the world.”
Kim Dae Ho confessed, “But I just can’t date. I worry that my life might bring misfortune to someone else. I like many things, and I’m comfortable living alone, but if I meet someone just because I can’t stand loneliness for a couple of months a year, I feel too sorry to date.”
The middle-aged man responded, “I understand the values of enjoying what you like on your own and being comfortable living alone, but it can’t compare to getting married, having children, and raising them.“
