A girl group star confessed to the pain of having experienced panic disorder in the past.
On October 27th, in a Salon Drip episode titled “The Life of Cinderella Who Picks Anchovy Droppings and Sleeps at 9 PM,” Seo In Young, originally from the group Jewelry, made an appearance.
In the video, Seo In Young admitted that the cheers from the audience sometimes felt like fear. She shared her experience of suddenly feeling anxious on stage, sitting down and crying.
She recalled the intense criticism she faced during her Jewelry days for her so-called “pubic bone fashion” and said, “When public opinion started to improve and people cheered for me, I thought, ‘Am I going to be hated again? What if they dislike me again?’”
She continued, “During a performance, sudden anxiety overwhelmed me, and I sat down crying,” confessing the psychological pressure she had to handle in her early twenties.
Seo In Young also remembered her mother, who had always been by her side during tough times. She said, “Watching my mother pass away made me realize life has no guarantees,” adding, “I directly buried her ashes. I felt emptiness, wondering if this was how it all ends.”
She further shared her changed outlook on life, saying, “I now deeply understand that every moment is not eternal.“
