An idol-turned-actress has made a drastic transformation while preparing for Hyrox, a fitness racing competition.
On November 3rd, a post was uploaded on social media by After School member-turned-actress Uee, saying, “I didn’t realize preparing for the Hyrox competition would be this intense,” along with records showing changes in her body composition.
According to the records, as of November 3rd, Uee’s skeletal muscle mass was 23.9 kg, her body fat percentage was 19.0%, and her body fat mass was 10.3 kg.
What stands out is the change over the past few months. Her skeletal muscle mass, which was 22.5 kg on July 9th, dropped to 21.8 kg by August 10th but then steadily increased to 23.9 kg by November 3rd. In about four months, she gained 1.4 kg of skeletal muscle.
Meanwhile, her body fat percentage significantly decreased. It had risen to 25.2% on August 10th, then dropped to 23.0% on August 24th, 20.2% on October 1st, and finally 19.0% on November 3rd—a drop of 6.2 percentage points in about three months.
Her body fat mass also fell from 13.6 kg to 10.3 kg over the same period, a 3.3 kg reduction. This demonstrates an increase in muscle mass and a decrease in fat.
By sharing these records, Uee seemed to realize how challenging the preparation for the Hyrox competition has been. The numbers clearly reflect her dedication to intense exercise and physical conditioning.
Previously, Uee appeared on a YouTube channel and revealed her unique exercise habits. She emphasized that finding the right exercise routine and sticking with it is key, mentioning she bought a machine known as the “Stairway to Heaven” and did 4,000 repetitions daily for over a year. She also stressed the importance of proper hydration and a healthy diet.
Notably, Uee confessed to having struggled with her figure due to extreme dieting in the past. On KBS2’s Problem Child In House in 2023, she said, “I debuted with ‘honey thighs,’ but after extreme dieting, I wasn’t satisfied with my body.” However, through consistent exercise, she regained confidence.
Having experienced changes in both body and mind through exercise, Uee has now attracted attention by publicly sharing her progress in increasing muscle mass and reducing body fat while training for the Hyrox competition.
