Following the announcement, the details of the album were shared, including the fact there were five different versions and sharing the inclusions involved.
When the images of the versions and inclusions were posted, netizens hit back at the poor and lazy aesthetics of the album created by YG Entertainment, especially compared to the members’ solo releases under different companies.

“Wow, the sense of aesthetics here is dead too. They’re just relying on the artist’s face.”
“YG has been like this for a while now… It really wasn’t this bad before.”

- “After looking at the solo album aesthetics, seeing YG’s stuff makes me sigh lol.”
- “It kind of looks simple, but also kind of bland…”
- “LOL it is pretty, but honestly after seeing the solo album aesthetics, looking at this very YG-style detail page is like… hmm lol.”
- “There’s really nothing there… I mean, it’s BLACKPINK, but I still want to see more than just those two colors.”
Some even joked that considering it’s a mini-album, it seems like there might even be more versions than songs on the album.
